Keynote Speaker: Michael Barkann

Michael Barkann has become an indelible part of Philadelphia’s sports landscape, and one of the market’s best-known and most-respected sports media figures, during a nearly 25-year tenure as a host and anchor for NBC Sports Philadelphia and over three decades covering the city's teams, athletes and events. He currently serves as the host of the network's Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies pregame and postgame coverage.

Barkann has covered several national and international sporting events for USA Networks and CBS Sports, including three Olympic Winter Games (1998, 1994 and 1992), two NCAA Final Fours (1996 and 1995) and the U.S. Open Tennis Championships for nearly two decades, beginning in 1991.

Barkann has collected numerous professional honors throughout his career, including six Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards, and has been named the Pennsylvania Sportscaster of the Year seven times.
